Locally born and raised here in Denton, Angela graduated from Denton High School in 2002, continuing her education at NCTC and NTCC in East Texas studying both nursing and elementary education.
Angela married her husband Paul in October 2004, becoming an instant mom to her two beautiful step-daughters. Paul and Angela continued to grow their family, adding 4 children over the next 5 years, completing their family with 6 children.
Angela worked in preschool ministry at Southmont Baptist Church for 9 years, allowing her the opportunity to raise her children while working part time. In February 2016, Angela went back to school at NCTC becoming a registered dental assistant in Texas.
Angela is a very busy wife and mother. Her step-daughters, Cassi (16) and Katy (14), attend LDHS where they are a Highstepper and cheerleader, keeping up the family tradition of Friday Night Lights. Her daughter, Taylor (11) participates in choir and plays basketball and will begin middle school fall 2017. Angela has twin sons who are like night and day. Hunter (10) enjoys theater, choir and running club. Braden (10) participates in Tamba Marimba and plays multiple sports including soccer, football, basketball and baseball. Her baby boy, Luke (6) is very active as well, participating in theater club, plays the drums and is in multiple sports including soccer and basketball.
In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, attending and supporting her children in all their sports/activities, scrapbooking, drawing, painting and Bible journaling. She and her family attend Crosstimbers Church in Denton.
Her two favorite movies are “A League of Our Own” and “Step-Mom”.
